The Highland volleyball team preps for the upcoming year with new faces leading the charge.
The Huskies lost eight players to graduation from a 2018 team that went 4-17. Alyson Stokes was one of those players that moved on after leading the team in kills, digs, and blocks. Kaylee Rath is one of the few with significant experience, as she comes back for her senior season after 39 kills, 47 assists, and 30 digs last year. Emily Streb had 55 digs and a .835 serve efficiency. Other players to expect to see time this year include Haley Sweeting, Kayla Cerny, Jenna Sands, Alyssa Brase, and Mackenze Hora.
Highland opens the year Monday at Keota for a tournament.
