In honor of a member of the Louisa County Ambulance and Grandview Fire Department, other paramedics are volunteering their time so colleagues may attend the funeral of Devin Estabrook. Estabrook, 49, was killed when a vehicle struck him and fled while he was riding his bicycle near Muscatine. The funeral for Estabrook will be held in Muscatine Saturday at 11 a.m.
The Louisa County Ambulance Service is stationed in Letts and Columbus Junction, and is a volunteer ambulance service. The Johnson County Ambulance Service and West Liberty Fire Department Ambulance are each sending a fully staffed ambulance to Louisa County Saturday morning at no cost so Estabrook’s colleagues can attend the funeral out of county. The Louisa County Ambulances will take part in the processions to pay respects to Estabrook.
