Corn in Iowa is rated slightly better at 11% excellent, 54% good, 26% fair, and 9% poor to very poor. Iowa’s corn crop is 11 days behind last year and nine days behind the five-year average with 76% in the dough stage. In southeast Iowa corn is slightly behind with 65% of corn in the dough stage and 18% has dented.
