Nearly 100 vendors will have products on display in Washington’s Central Park next week. The 30th Annual Washington Craft Fair will be held Saturday, September 7th. Washington Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Alisha Davis says there are vendors returning as well as new vendors coming to town, “Crafts, homemade crafts a lot of that, homemade jewelry, the t-shirts and signs with sayings on them, a lot of those items, a lot of little kids stuff. There’s a really fun, new stuff a bear vendor coming; I can’t wait for my kids to do that.” Another new aspect is a make and take craft with Repurpose It on the bandstand. Those who want to take part need to register with Repurpose It in advance. The fair had about 100 vendors last year and they anticipate about the same participation. Davis adds there’s an influx of food booths so there will be a variety of items available for lunch. Vendors have until Tuesday to sign up to be in the craft fair. It runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. September 7th.
