The Lone Tree football team dropped their first game in 2019 Friday, losing a home game to Midland 44-32. The Lions posted 295 yards of total offense, most of that through the air on the arm of Harmon Miller who was 11 of 21 for 194 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. Miller was also the leading ground gainer with 23 carries for 59 yards and two more scores. Alex Viner had 97 yards on four catches and a touchdown. Midland had 369 yards of total offense, led by quarterback Britan Martens who accounted for 261 total yards and three touchdowns. The Eagles also forced three Lone Tree turnovers. Lone Tree is now 0-1 on the season and they travel to Easton Valley on Friday.
