The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team travels to Iowa City Regina Thursday for a match with the rival Regals. The Golden Hawks are 4-1 on the year, falling to Durant in their conference opener last time out in three sets. On the season, Mid-Prairie is led by Cassidy Hershberger with 20 kills. Landry Pacha has 66 assists, sixth most in the River Valley Conference. Amber Swart leads the Golden Hawk defense with 17 digs.

Iowa City Regina comes in at 1-9 on the season. The Regals have dropped seven matches in a row including five straight at the Mount Vernon tournament over the weekend. Regina is led on the season by Lily Simpson with 31 kills, 10th most in the River Valley Conference. Alli Dillon has 53 assists to pace the Regals, eighth most in the RVC and the Regina defense is led by Annie Gahan with 40 digs, ninth most in conference. These two teams met a year ago with the Regals sweeping the Golden Hawks. Action begins tonight at 7:15p.m. at Regina High School in Iowa City.
