
The Washington High School went into lock down procedures Friday afternoon. Washington Community School District Superintendent Willie Stone announced that at approximately 12:30 p.m. the school was locked down for a student who created a disturbance and damaged district property. Officers from the Washington Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the school. KCII News witnessed officers escort one student from the building and to a police vehicle. No injuries were reported and the name of the student was not released. The lock down ended at 12:40 p.m.
