The Sigourney-Keota Cobra football team continued to light up the scoreboard in the early portion of the football season, breaking 70 in a 75-27 win over Albia on Friday. The road trip didn’t bother SK as they piled up 594 yards of total offense, including 549 on the ground in the win. Sam Sieren rolled for 251 yards on 17 carries and three touchdowns. JD Stout also broke the 200 yard barrier, rushing for 213 on 12 carries and four scores. The Cobra defense came up with three turnovers including an interception for Wyatt Sieren and fumble recoveries for Brady Duwa and Donnie Herr. The Cobra defense allowed just 42 rushing yards. SK is now 3-0 on the year, they travel to Pleasantville Friday.
