The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team fell in a River Valley Conference match at Iowa City Regina Thursday night. The Regals beat the Hawks in four sets by scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-19 and 25-23. After the match, Mid-Prairie head coach Sherry Evans talked about her teams night. “One thing we could improve on is passing. Our passing was off tonight, so our setter couldn’t square to the net and that made the pass to the hitters off and they couldn’t execute it. We improved our serving, but I think Regina wanted it more than we did.”

With the loss, the Hawks now stand at 4-2. They welcome Tipton to Wellman on Tuesday night.
