The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk cross country teams rolled on in Saturday’s Monticello Invitational. The Golden Hawk girls won the meet with an overall score of 52 points. Marie Hostetler led the way with the individual title in a time of 17:56. Other Golden Hawk finishers included Mitzi Evans sixth, Abbagail Evans 10th, Sidney Yoder 17th, Angelina Evans 18th, Ana Fleming 22nd, and Jaden Yoder 26th.

The Mid-Prairie boys were fifth with 123 points. Tipton won the meet with 47 points. Top finish for the Hawks came from Jamison Stutzman in 15th with a time of 17:19. Other Golden Hawk finishers included Thaddeus Shetler 21st, Chandler Hershberger 24th, Lucas Bontrager 31st, Nathan Wallington 32nd, Mose Yoder 68th, and Luke Albright 82nd. Mid-Prairie will next be in action September 23rd at Solon.
