The Highland football team made it three straight wins to start the season Friday, downing the Lynnville-Sully Hawks on the road 39-12. Cole Adamson had a big night on the ground with 23 carries for 203 yards and three touchdowns. Owen Donovan added 80 yards on 12 carries and a score. Connor Grinstead was four of six through the air for 69 yards and a score. Mason McFarland pulled in three catches for 47 yards on the night. The Highland defense was led by Cael Yeggy with five and a half tackles including one for loss. They surrendered just 196 total yards while forcing three turnovers. All of the takeaways went to Zane Arnold with two interceptions and a fumble recovery. The Huskies are 3-0 on the year and host Lisbon for Homecoming this week.
