
The student who caused a lockdown at Washington High School Friday is facing multiple charges. As heard on KCII News, at 12:30 p.m. the school was locked down for a student who created a disturbance and damaged district property. Officers escorted the student from the building and to a police vehicle. The 16-year-old male was transported to detention by juvenile court authorities. He has been charged with assault on a police officer, interference with official acts, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.
The lockdown ended at 12:40 p.m. The name of the student was not released. No injuries were reported.
