After a 10-day layoff, the WACO volleyball team was back on the court Tuesday night making a trip to Donnellson and Central Lee had the upper hand in four sets.

The Hawks won with set scores of 25-13, 16-25, 25-21, 25-11. The Warriors had a hard time stopping Mya Merschman and her 18 kills.  Ellie Miles led WACO with 11 kills and Laney Graber had 26 assists. Aubri Garnsey took care of the defense with 20 digs and the Warriors connected on 63 of 68 serves.

WACO drops to 8-3 and they host Danville tomorrow.
