The Winfield Mt. Union volleyball team defended their home court on Thursday night by downing Highland in straight sets.
The Wolves came out with the sweep in set scores of 25-21, 25-7, and 25-12. Anna Hudson and Melina Oepping provided a lift offensively with 10 kills a piece and Kayla Edwards dished out 24 assists. Jami Wilkerson was a perfect 19 of 19 serving with six aces and Kyndal Townsley recorded 17 digs.
WMU improves to 12-3 and they play in a Holy Trinity tournament on Monday. The Huskies drop to 2-10 and they are off until October 3rd when they host Columbus.
