A teenager was arrested after a pursuit in Washington early Tuesday morning. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 12:46 a.m. a sheriff’s deputy told emergency dispatch that there was a vehicle pursuit near East Washington and 15th Street. Two more deputies and two police officers also responded. The vehicle stopped near South B Avenue and West Washington Street. Nineteen-year-old Lorenzo Smith of Washington was arrested. Smith is charged with eluding, no valid drivers license, speeding, and failure to obey a stop sign. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
