The day has come for the first round of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference volleyball tournament and area teams spread across multiple locations.

Lone Tree gets to host one of the locations that also features Winfield-Mt. Union, Cardinal, and Central Lee. WACO and Highland will make a trip to Mediapolis along with West Burlington and Danville. WMU head coach Dave Pieart tells KCII Sports this tournament in the middle of the season is always a good measuring stick. “I like this tournament in the middle of the season because it does give you a chance to see where you are at and see how you need to adjust. We normally see teams that are potential playoff teams so that always helps to see the competition.”

It will be a round-robin tournament and the top two teams at each location will advance to the final eight on Saturday at Southeastern Community College in Burlington.
