Tim Grady Gymnasium will be packed today for Mid-Prairie’s annual Saturday volleyball tournament. The Golden Hawks come in at 4-6 on the year after a loss to North Cedar on Senior Night Thursday. For the season, Mid-Prairie is led by Tori Boyse with 38 kills. Landry Pacha has 99 assists, ninth most in the River Valley Conference. Amber Swart leads the Golden Hawk defense with 51 digs.

The Washington Demons come into the tournament with an overall record of 6-14. Last time out the Demons were swept by Burlington in straight sets. On the year, Washington is led by Addison Six with 127 kills, second most in the Southeast Conference. Kinsey Duwa leads the Demons with 127 assists, fifth in the Southeast Conference. Kaitlyn Mitchell leads the Washington defense with 141 digs, fourth in the conference.

Sigourney comes into the match with an overall record of 3-12. In their last recorded match the Savages were beaten by Belle Plaine in straight sets. For the year Sigourney is led by Kaylee Weber with 50 kills. Brookelynn Hemsley has the team lead with 95 assists and Madelynn Homback has 135 digs to lead the Sigourney defense. Also at the tournament will be Iowa City Regina and West Liberty. Action begins at 9a.m. and continues all day at Mid-Prairie High School.
