For the first time in school history the WACO volleyball team will compete in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference tournament finals when they travel to Southeastern Community College in Burlington.
The Warriors (15-5) qualified for the event after cracking the top two at the preliminary round in Mediapolis on Thursday. WACO lost to Mediapolis, but defeated Highland, Danville, and West Burlington to finish second and advance. Morgan Graber leads the offense with 136 kills on the year, Laney Graber has compiled 337 assists, and Aubri Garnsey has 218 digs. The Warriors open up the night facing off with Van Buren (19-2).
The double-elimination tournament gets started at 5 p.m. tonight in Burlington.
