The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team is on the road tonight when they travel to West Branch to take on the Bears. Mid-Prairie comes into the night with a 4-7 record after dropping matches to West Liberty and Regina in straight sets at their home tournament Saturday. For the season, the Golden Hawks are led by Tori Boyse with 38 kills. Landry Pacha has 99 assists, 10th most in the River Valley Conference. Amber Swart leads the Mid-Prairie defense with 51 digs.
West Branch is 13-6 on the season. Last time out they beat Camanche in five sets at home Tuesday. On the year, the Bears are led by Kaiya Luneckas with 169 kills, fifth most in the River Valley Conference. Nicki Henson has 353 assists, second most in conference and Lexie Peak leads the Bears defense with 175 digs, fifth most in the RVC. These two teams met twice a year ago with the Bears sweeping both matchups. Action begins tonight at 7:15 at West Branch High School.
