Saturday, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team hosted their annual tournament at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman. The Golden Hawks went 1-2 on the weekend with a win over Washington by scores of 25-15 and 25-5 before falling to  West Liberty 25-12 and 25-17 and Iowa City Regina 25-22 and 25-21.

Washington also was 1-2 in Wellman Saturday. The Demons got a win over Iowa City Regina in three sets by scores of 25-11, 11-25 and 15-12 before falling to Mid-Prairie 25-15 and 25-5 and West Liberty 25-11 and 25-13. On the weekend the Demons were led by Addison Six with 26 kills and 11 digs. Kinsey Duwa had 15 assists. After the weekend tournament, Mid-Prairie is now 5-7 while Washington stands at 7-16.
