The Mid-Prairie volleyball team is back on the court Thursday at West Liberty to take on the Comets. Mid-Prairie comes into the match with a 5-8 overall record, after going 1-3 at their home tournament over the weekend. For the season, the Golden Hawks are led by Tori Boyse with 51 kills. Landry Pacha has the team lead with 118 assists, ninth most in the River Valley Conference. Amber Swart has the team lead with 70 digs.
West Liberty comes in at 16-2 overall. The Comets are currently ranked No. 3 in the latest poll from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. Last time out the Comets won the Mid-Prairie tournament Saturday going 4-0. The Comets are led on the year by Macy Daufeldt with 223 kills, third most in the River Valley Conference. Morgan Peterson leads her team and the conference with 438 assists. Monica Morales has 197 digs to pace the Comets. These two teams met over the weekend with the Comets getting the sweep action. Action starts tonight at 7:15 at West Liberty High School.
