There is a lot on the line week six for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football team as they travel to Williamsburg to take on the Raiders at Bob Murphy Field on their Homecoming. Mid-Prairie comes into the game 3-2 overall and 1-0 in district play after a 60-7 beating of Central Lee last week that saw the Hawks roll up 352 yards of total offense on Central Lee including 258 on the ground led by Kayden Reinier with 141 yards on 16 carries and three scores. The Golden Hawks also had a pair of defensive touchdowns. For the year, Mid-Prairie is led by Brad Tornow at 30 of 58 for 510 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. His favorite target is Jack Baker with nine catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Kayden Reinier has 559 yards and 10 touchdowns on 96 carries. Justice Jones leads the Mid-Prairie defense with 32 and a half tackles, one tackle for loss and an interception.

Williamsburg comes into the game with an overall record of 2-3. The Raiders closed out the non-district portion of their schedule at 1-3 with a win over West Marshall 14-7 and losses to Western Dubuque, West Branch and Iowa City Regina. The Raiders opened district play a week ago, blasting Davis County 49-12. On the year, Williamsburg is led by Brody Wardenburg under center at 28 of 72 for 496 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. His favorite target through the air is Kaden Wetjen with 13 catches for 267 yards and four touchdowns. Wetjen also leads the way on the ground with 55 carries for 464 yards and six touchdowns.
