The Wildcats come into tonight with a 1-5 overall record after dropping their Monday contest with the Warriors 18-12. The Wildcats had 206 yards of total offense with Will Schwab putting up 119 all-purpose yards and a touchdown. On the year, Columbus is led by Bawi UK at 24 of 61 for 479 yards, eight interceptions and three touchdowns. His favorite target is Johnathan Gonzales with nine catches for 147 yards and a pair of touchdowns. On the ground, the Wildcats are led by Will Schwab with 93 carries for 358 yards and two touchdowns. Tucker Bright leads the Wildcat defense with 32 and a half tackles, four for loss and a sack.
Mediapolis comes into the game at 4-1 on the year after a hard fought 14-10 win over Wapello a week ago. On the year, the Bulldogs are led by Briar Johnson through the air at 13 of 36 for 307 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. Owen Timmerman is his favorite target with eight grabs for 229 yards and three scores. On the ground, Klay Foster has 59 carries, 456 yards and five touchdowns. These two teams met a year ago with the Bulldogs winning a 55-40 shoot out. Action begins tonight at 7p.m.
