The KCII Big Red Radio will be taking part in celebrations in Columbus Junction Saturday for the 62nd Annual Columbus Day festivities. The theme this year is “A Great Place to Call Home.” The KCII staff will be broadcasting live from the celebration and Louisa County Ambulance barbecue and cookoff from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Festivities start with a 5k run and walk, which will be followed by a car show, food and craft vendors downtown, a children’s carnival, pumpkin decorating, and a parade.
