For the first and only time this year the Washington volleyball team hosts a tournament today with a few area schools participating.

Hillcrest Academy, Sigourney, and Keota will all make the short drive along with Tri-County and Wilton. The Demons (7-20) are coming off of three losses in the Southeast Conference tournament first round on Tuesday and Addison Six leads them with 153 kills. The Ravens (0-22) are looking for their first win and Yanitza Gutierrez has set up their offense with 100 assists. The Eagles (2-12) look to bounce back from a three set loss to Colfax-Mingo. Jaime Schulte has been a steady force defensively with 79 digs. The Savages are 4-15 and Kaylee Weber leads the way with 68 kills.

The action gets underway at 8:30 a.m. this morning at Washington High School.
