Speeding and public safety were at the forefront of discussion at Wellman’s recent city council meeting. The council discussed plans to install a speed bump at Circle Drive and Seventh Avenue to slow traffic in the area. Council decided to move forward with the plan of adding a speed bump to the entrance of Circle Drive and on Seventh Avenue and possible future additions of stop signs at the intersection of Seventh Avenue and Seventh Street.
