The Washington Marching Demon Nation brought home hardware from their latest competition. The Washington High School marching band competed at the Muskie Invitational at Muscatine High School. The Demons presented their show titled Dante’s Ascent, with the music written by senior member John Flannery. The band placed fifth. Drum majors Audrey Wubbena and Hunter Rarick were presented the Outstanding Drum Major Award. The pair also received the Outstanding Drum Major award earlier this season at Fort Madison.
