The Washington volleyball team steps foot on their home court for the final time in 2019 tonight, as they welcome Columbus Community for senior night.
The Demons (10-22) are coming off of day two of the Southeast Conference tournament where they came home with a split. They lost to Burlington, but for the second time this year they defeated rival Fairfield. Washington won in dramatic fashion with set scores of 20-22, 21-14, and 17-15. The Demons finished 1-4 in the tournament and placed sixth as a team. The Wildcats are 6-21 and coming off of a sweep of Hillcrest Academy on Tuesday. Kayla Beenen leads them with 89 kills.
The area matchup gets underway at 7 p.m. at Washington High School.
