The final regular season cross country meet for several teams is tonight at Mediapolis. Four teams from the KCII listening area will run at Big Hollow Recreation Area. The Hillcrest Academy Raven cross country team is coming off of a sixth place girls finish at the Superconference meet Monday, led by Leah Bontrager in third place and Sarena Gerber in 14th place, both all-conference selections. The Hillcrest boys did not have a team score, Colby Harris finished 56th.

The Highland boys and girls ran at Columbus on Tuesday. The Highland boys were sixth. Jacob Roling led the Huskies in 18th place. The Highland girls won the team title at Columbus, led by individual champion Madison Thomann.

Lone Tree last ran at Monday’s SEISC meet. The Lion boys finished in 11th place with Alberto Cortes leading the way in 32nd. The Lady Lions did not have a team score, they were led by Macie Bopp in sixth place.

The WACO Warriors also ran last at Monday’s Superconference meet. The Warrior boys did not have a team score but Jonah Egli led the way in 11th. The WACO girls were eighth as a team with Eryka Dickey posting the top finish in 26th.

Other teams competing include Central Lee, Danville, Holy Trinity Catholic, Louisa-Muscatine, Burlington Notre Dame, Pekin, and Wapello. Action begins tonight at 4:30 and continues into the evening at Big Hollow Recreation Area.
