Residents in portions of Columbus Junction have been dealing with damaged streets, water and sewer lines since May on Oakview Drive. A spring mudslide caused an issue with infrastructure in the area. Council has accepted a bid of $27,262.50 for work on water lines in the area from Four Seasons Excavating Inc. out of Burlington. The city is still in talks with FEMA about reimbursement for work needed in the area. Work is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks with a completion date of November 15th.
