The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has announced the first round playoff matchups for class 1A volleyball. The Hillcrest Academy Ravens will be on the road in the opening round to take on the New London Tigers. The Ravens come into the match after closing out a winless regular season at 0-25. New London is 26-8 on the year and currently ranked No. 10 in the latest poll from the IGHSAU. These two teams met earlier this season in pool play of the Southeast Iowa Superconference tournament with the Tigers earning a sweep. They will face off on Tuesday, October 22nd at New London High School at 7p.m.
