Farmers and ag advisors are welcome to attend a field day on November 19th from 3-6:30 p.m. at the Iowa State University Southeast Research and Demonstration farm near Crawfordsville. Featured topics include on-farm conservation practices, prescribed burning, and planning and enrollment in USDA cost share programs. Speakers include ISU Extension Engineering Field Specialist Kristin TeBockhorst, ISU STRIPS Farmer Liaison-Tim Youngquist, and Tony Maxwell with Washington County NRCS. The field day is free and open to the public. It begins at 3 p.m. near Crawfordsville.
