Despite tough weather conditions the Keota FFA team had a strong showing at the State Soil judging contest. The team advanced to state with a second place showing at the Southeast District contest at Muscatine Community College, with Joe Swanstrom placing runner-up and Cooper Sieren seventh. At the state contest in Ames on the Iowa State University campus, Keota FFA finished in eighth place.
