Mid-Prairie middle school students were invited to showcase technology projects at the Iowa Technology and Education Connection (ITEC) Conference in Des Moines. The students received a purple ribbon for the multi-level video game they created. At this state-level meeting the students demonstrated their game, experimented with new technology and software, and spoke with professionals in the industry. The students who participated were Kyla Karnes, Jacob Donaldson, Jacob Flynn, Landry Gingerich, Mason Bender, Chase Rundall and Bryce Bailey.
