Riverside Casino and Golf Resort was a big winner in the annual Give Back Iowa Challenge in 2019. Governor Kim Reynolds was in Riverside to present the large company award to General Manager Dan Franz and Elite Casino Resorts COO Karlyn Ollendick. The challenge is based on volunteer hours logged during the eight weeks from April 1st to May 31st across Iowa. The Riverside Casino’s Winning Hands program logged more than 3,300 volunteer hours during that time. There were 49 participating businesses in this year’s contest, logging more than 74,000 combined volunteer hours, valued at approximately $1.8 million. This is the third time in the five years of the challenge that Riverside Casino has won the award.
