Two people were injured in a wreck on Highway 218 Monday morning. According to the Iowa State Patrol, at 7:42 a.m. two vehicles collided in Henry County, south of Mt. Pleasant near the Skunk River. A pickup truck driven by 26-year-old Gregory Martin Ford of Bridgewater, Iowa was going from one shoulder of the highway to the other removing debris. He pulled into the path of a freightliner driven by 42-year-old Brett Alan Farran of Dubuque. Both vehicles ended up in the west ditch. Ford was taken by private vehicle to Henry County Health Center and had been wearing a seatbelt. A passenger, 56-year-old Jeffrey Wayne Arbogast of New London was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken by ambulance to the Henry County Health Center. The collision remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
