The first snow of the season is expected tonight in the KCII-listening area. According to the National Weather Service, snowfall is expected between 9 p.m. Monday and 4 a.m. Tuesday. Snow may lead to reduced visibility and slush on paved surfaces. Most of Washington, Keokuk, Johnson, and Iowa Counties are expected to get between one and two inches of snow. Henry, Louisa, and Jefferson Counties are estimated to get less than an inch of snow. Due to this active weather pattern, snow is expected tonight, again late Tuesday night, and through Halloween with high temperatures in the 40s and lows dipping down to the 20s. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
