The first snowfall of the season fell Monday night into Tuesday morning. Pumpkins, fields of corn and soybeans, Halloween decorations, and trees full of colorful leaves were covered in Washington with 1.5 inches of snow.
Two more rounds of snow are possible this week in southeast Iowa. The National Weather Service says tonight into Wednesday morning snow may mix with rain early and Washington has a 39% chance of an inch of snow or more. Then on Wednesday night into the early hours of Halloween there is another possibility of snow, but there is uncertainty in the forecast. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
