The New London volleyball team got out to a fast start and never looked back in a sweep of Keota in a class 1A regional quarterfinal match.
The Tigers won with set scores of 25-9, 25-6, and 25-13. The Eagles had a hard time stopping Addie Pry, as she collected 13 kills on the day. Taylor Kindred led the Eagle offense with five kills and Makenzie Jackson recorded four assists. Jaime Schulte led the defense with 10 digs and the team was 24 of 30 serving.
Keota ends the season with a 5-17 record and they lose two players to graduation in Schulte and Addison Swanson. New London (28-8) advances to the semifinal round when they host WACO tomorrow.
