More snow is expected tonight and tomorrow in the KCII-listening area. The National Weather Service says a widespread heavy, wet snowfall from two to six inches is expected in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Washington, Keokuk, Johnson, Henry, Jefferson, and Louisa Counties are expected to get about three inches of snow this Halloween Eve and Halloween Day. This snowfall may lead to reduced visibilities, some accumulations on roads, tree damage, and power outages due to heavy snow loads on trees and power lines. Plan extra time if you have to travel and drive slowly. Windchills will be in the teens and lower 20’s. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
