A trip to Iowa City ended the Columbus Community volleyball season on Monday, as they were swept by Regina in a first round class 2A regional game.

The Regals won with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, and 25-20. Kayla Beenen ended her career with five kills to lead the Wildcats and Taylor Howell had five assists. Emma Milder led the defense with 10 kills. The team was 36 of 43 serving with two aces.

Columbus finishes the year 6-23 and they bid farewell to three seniors in Beenen, Howell, and Gracie Morrison.
