Mid-Prairie high school and middle school choir students have been busy with special performances around the area. Nine high school choir students traveled to Iowa Wesleyan University in Mt. Pleasant to participate in an All-State preparation honor choir. They had the opportunity to practice as a large group and sing individually with university faculty to work on their audition music. They also sang alongside Iowa Wesleyan choirs for an evening concert. Participating high school students included Terra Richardson, Gavin Frascht, Elizabeth Meader, Sierra Yoder, Madison Kelly, Hannah Glick, Kelby Gingerich, Grace Allred, Cera Harsch, Hannah Tandy and Emilia Harmston.

Five middle school students traveled to Tipton to sing in the River Valley Conference Honor Choir. They rehearsed all day and presented a concert that night, including a combined piece with middle and high school choirs. Participating middle school students included Haydon Bailey, Henry Yoder, Isabelle Duvall, Ashlee Farrier and Logan McClellen.
