A jury decides the fate of one person in a homicide trial on the Washington High School Performing Arts Center stage with the production of 12 Angry Jurors this weekend. The play focuses on the 12 jurors trying to decide if the person is guilty or innocent. Erika Salgado says it’s a serious play with heavy sections, “Well, the show is also based in the 1950’s and some of the references and things we talk about in the show are kind of touchy subjects. So we all have to react to everything everyone says and all our different opinions that we have. And it’s too real a little bit, sometimes.” Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. It is on the stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
