Winter sports are right around the corner and that means the start of the Washington archery season.
The Demons will look to keep their rich tradition alive starting with their first competition of the year in a home tournament on Saturday, December 7th. The team has two competitions in December also participating in Ottumwa the following weekend and then the bulk of their schedule is in January and February. Samantha Mellinger looks to lead the Demons, as she returns for her senior year and is coming off of a junior season where she placed in the 88th percentile for high school girls at Eastern Nationals in Kentucky.
That first home tournament of the year goes all day and starts at 8 a.m.
