Students at Highland High School are hoping to help the less fortunate this holiday season. From Monday, November 18th through Friday, November 22nd the student council is accepting canned and non-perishable food items for their food drive. They are specifically looking for items to make up a Thanksgiving meal including stuffing mix, rolls, corn bread mix, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, marshmallows, cream of mushroom soup, green beans, instant potatoes, corn and more. If you would like to make a donation you can drop off items at all Highland School District buildings, at Ainsworth Four Corners and the Hair Salon, Madeline’s Coffee House in Riverside, Riverside City Hall and the Bank.
