The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football team added another weapon to their offense in 2019. Junior Jake Swawrtzendruber had a top 10 season in class 2A when it comes to kicking extra points. He finished 10th in the state in percentage of kicks made for those with at least 15 attempts on the year. Swartzendruber, who emerged as a kicking option in the second half of the season went 15 of 17 in PATs for an 88% mark. The Golden Hawks finished the season with a 6-3 overall record.
