Iowa’s All-State Music Festival will have two Washington High School students in its ranks this week. The annual festival includes bands, an orchestra, and chorus. Brothers John and Kevin Flannery were each selected for the band during auditions in October. Senior John Flannery was selected again on the piano. Freshman Kevin Flannery will be playing the tuba. The 73rd festival is this Thursday through Saturday in Ames.
