Mid-Prairie’s Isaac Boucher made an impression in class 2A last year. As a junior, Boucher won the River Valley Conference Championship in his weight class and made his first appearance at the state meet in Des Moines going on to make the podium and place sixth after battling back through the consolation bracket. He finished the year with a 38-7 overall record. Entering this season, he has caught the attention of those from iawrestle.com. He comes into the year ranked No. 2 in class 2A at 195lbs, trailing only sophomore Wyatt Voelker of West Delaware. The Golden Hawks open the season Tuesday, December 3rd when they travel to Eddyville-Blakesburg to meet the Rockets and English Valleys Bears.
