The Mid-Prairie and WACO boys basketball teams got together for a Hall of Pride scrimmage Friday at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman. The game does not count on either team’s record. The Golden Hawks did take the unofficial 50-44 win. Sophomore Carter Harmsen off the bench had a big night to lead Mid-Prairie with 16 points. Nik Coble led the Warrior offense with 14. Mid-Prairie opens the season Tuesday, December 3rd when they host West Liberty. WACO also starts the year Tuesday, December 3rd when they travel to Wapello.
