The Highland girls’ basketball team is coming off of a 15-8 campaign a year ago and look to reload after losing key players to graduation.

The Huskies bid farewell to their top three scorers including Alyson Stokes with 17.3 points and 11 rebounds a night. Alyssa Brase returns for her senior season after averaging 6.2 points a game while shooting 40% from the floor. Haley Sweeting is back after 31 steals and Kayla Cerny had 40 rebounds. Other Huskies that have some varsity experience include Jenna Sands, Alyssa Clarke, and Mackinze Hora.

The Huskies start up their conference season Tuesday against Lone Tree.
